Discovering the Nagarey Warehouse

We’re always amazed by Indonesia’s rich resources when it comes to furniture and accessories. From pottery to dinnerware and of course, furniture. I think we’ve barely even scratched the surface. However, it’s also a challenge trying to distinguish quality made furniture from a terribly made one. I found Nagarey while searching the internet for furniture- and the rest is history. Whenever I post photos of our home, everyone asks where I got my chairs or my dining table. I’ve had friends visiting from Singapore who made time to go there! We love furniture but we don’t want to spend too much for it. So knowing that Nagarey exists means good furniture design is meant to be enjoyed by everyone.

What to expect when you visit the Nagarey Warehouse, you ask? They have 2 levels, on the ground floor you will find a lot of accessories- export pieces. If you want to add cozy vibes to your home, you can definitely find something here. There are also a lot of one-off furniture pieces which are available for immediate purchase. The prices are slashed hence you will probably end up buying more than you planned to in the first place.

On the second level, you’ll see more furniture pieces which you need to order. Their staff will be there ready to assist and let you know their availability. While Nagarey designs give off modern tropical vibes, their pieces are contemporary and you will most probably pieces that suit your taste. I find that their pieces add so much warmth and character to our home with their tastefully varnished or painted pieces. We keep joking Raymond, who is the Nagarey owner, saying that our house is really like a Nagarey showroom. If I’m in need of any furniture, I’d usually look around in Nagarey first.

These photos were taken a few months ago, they constantly bring in new items- I guess that’s why I’m hooked. A visit at Nagarey is always exciting for me.
